Beau Fraley

Director of Impact Investments

Beau Fraley, CPA, RN serves as Director of Impact Investments at Brightwell, where he works with investors and capital partners to structure and deploy tax-advantaged clean energy investments. His professional background spans public accounting, healthcare, and investment strategy, giving him a rare ability to connect technical tax planning with real-world decision making. Beau began his career at KPMG, where he prepared complex tax returns for financial institutions and later focused on exempt organizations and nonprofits. That work gave him early insight into sophisticated tax strategies as well as the financial pressures nonprofits face as they work to stretch limited resources. He later built on this foundation through consulting roles and hands-on operational experience, bringing a disciplined, compliance-minded approach to how capital is structured, evaluated, and deployed at Brightwell.

What draws Beau to Brightwell’s work is the opportunity to give investors direct agency over how their tax dollars are used—while strengthening organizations that serve as the backbone of their communities. His time working with nonprofits, combined with his experience in nursing, shaped a perspective grounded in responsibility, care, and long-term thinking. Beau is motivated by helping investors move beyond abstract strategies and into clear, well-structured opportunities that reduce tax liability, generate returns, and deliver tangible benefits to schools, churches, and community organizations. For him, impact investing is about alignment—between financial stewardship, disciplined execution, and the lasting good that well-deployed capital can create.
