Claire Hicks brings a background in project development, capital coordination, and operational execution shaped by hands-on experience across infrastructure and renewable energy programs. Prior to joining Brightwell, she served as a Loan Technician with USDA Rural Development’s Energy Programs, where she supported the evaluation and administration of energy and infrastructure financing initiatives—working closely with utilities, municipalities, and project stakeholders to ensure projects were structured and executed with care and accountability. In her role as Director of Sales Enablement at Brightwell, Claire focuses on building repeatable development processes, aligning capital with high-quality projects, and supporting disciplined execution across each stage of the project lifecycle, with a strong emphasis on incentive optimization and stakeholder coordination.

Claire is motivated by supporting Brightwell’s partners as they move projects from idea to execution. She is especially drawn to the work of helping nonprofits navigate rising energy costs without pulling resources away from their core missions, and to helping investors understand how their capital can be deployed thoughtfully and effectively. By working closely with partners throughout the process, Claire helps bring clarity to complex decisions, ensuring projects move forward with confidence and result in durable, long-term value for the organizations and communities they serve.
