Jason Close

SVP of Brightwell Capital

Jason Close brings more than 20 years of sales and executive leadership experience, having held senior roles at both Heartland Payment Systems and Global Payments. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Global Sales Excellence at Global Payments, where he led global initiatives focused on building strong, scalable sales cultures and driving organic revenue growth across diverse markets. Over the course of his career—from field sales to leading multi-billion-dollar organizations—Jason has built and coached high-performing teams, developed future leaders, and designed operating frameworks that balance growth with discipline and sustainability. This experience now informs his role as Senior Vice President of Brightwell Capital, where he works closely with high-net-worth individuals, CPAs, and financial advisors to structure and support impact-driven investment strategies.

What motivates Jason today is the opportunity to help investors use their success to strengthen the communities they care about. He is deeply aligned with Brightwell’s mission to return meaningful resources to nonprofits that are facing rising energy costs and increasing financial pressure. By helping investors redirect tax liabilities into solar projects that power schools, churches, and community organizations, Jason sees capital become something more than a financial tool—it becomes a way to sustain essential institutions for the long term. For Jason, the work is about stewardship: connecting people with opportunities that are financially sound, thoughtfully structured, and rooted in a genuine desire to leave communities stronger than they were before.
