Matt Snell

SVP of Revenue Operations

Matt Snell serves as Senior Vice President of Revenue Operations at Brightwell, where he brings deep expertise in data, pricing, and financial modeling to support disciplined, scalable growth. His career began in higher education and data operations before moving into the payments industry, where he spent more than six years at Heartland Payment Systems building and leading large-scale data pipelines, automation frameworks, and pricing systems. That work reduced manual oversight, improved accuracy, and enabled leadership teams to make faster, higher-confidence decisions at scale. At Brightwell, Matt has built on this foundation by developing a hands-on understanding of solar project economics, including utility rates, tax incentives, insurance structures, and investor return mechanics. He translates this complexity into clear, bankable models that support projects from origination through execution.

Matt is driven by the challenge of unlocking meaningful, long-term savings for nonprofits without compromising financial rigor or investor confidence. He is deeply aligned with Brightwell’s mission to pair disciplined financial stewardship with tangible community impact, and he sees his role as a force multiplier that brings clarity where complexity can slow progress. By serving as a trusted resource across pricing, insurance, revenue modeling, and deal structure, Matt helps ensure projects are structured to last and systems are built to scale responsibly. For him, success means financial models that hold up, partnerships built on trust, and nonprofits that are better positioned to focus their resources on the work their communities depend on.
