Sarah Shutt
Sarah Shutt serves as Director of Experience at Brightwell, where she leads customer and investor experience across the firm’s clean energy projects. Her work centers on designing thoughtful, transparent engagement throughout the project lifecycle, helping investors, capital partners, and nonprofit organizations understand where they are in the process and what comes next. Sarah oversees customer success strategy, communication frameworks, impact storytelling, and feedback systems, ensuring complex project milestones are translated into clear, confidence-building moments that strengthen long-term relationships. Prior to Brightwell, she spent several years in the payments industry as an Incentives Program Manager for a national sales organization, partnering closely with executive leadership, finance, analytics, and marketing teams to manage program strategy, governance, compliance, and communication.
What drives Sarah is the human connection behind every project. She is deeply motivated by creating experiences rooted in trust, where investors and nonprofit partners feel heard, supported, and respected at every stage of the journey. For Sarah, Brightwell’s mission is not just about outcomes, but about how those outcomes are achieved. She believes thoughtful stewardship, clear communication, and follow-through are essential to building relationships that last and ensuring the work ultimately strengthens the communities Brightwell exists to serve.
